I like that this Team has only lost 1 game in a row for 9 times.
Also, of those 9 losses over half (5) have been 1 run games. Keep grinding out series wins Beavs...and let's see what happens.

7-5 in one-run games. Good numbers. Good coaching. Unfortunately I think only (3/2-1) are vs postseason types. This may be true, but everyone loses games they shouldn't. Just glancing through the top 25 on D1, every team in the top 10 has multiple losses to teams that won't make the postseason. Tennessee is the only exception and even they lost to Tennessee Tech. That being said, the goal is to win each game that you play. Even if you're playing an inferior opponent, baseball is about individual matchups and there a lot of variables. Finding a way to win almost 80 percent (so far) of your games is a reflection on talent and good coaching, regardless of the quality of opponent. I'm not saying that this team is flawless or that the coaching staff makes all the right decisions, but I feel like one could put too much stock into who the opponent is and not give enough credit to the coaching staff and team for winning games. Even games against teams they "should beat". Just my opinion.

I may have read too much into your comment, but I also just wanted to share my thoughts regarding competition. Gonzaga and Stanford may be the only potential super regional teams we've played. The last 3 conference series will be very telling. Hoping they are more exciting than stressful.

Unfortunately I think only (3/2-1) are vs postseason types. What’s our overall record against these “postseason” types you cite? Which clubs are you referring to? Gonzaga, Stanford, Grand Canyon and Oregon are the projected postseason teams that the Beavers have played. They are 2-1 in 1 run games against those teams. I’m assuming that’s who he is referring to. 6-4 against those teams overall. That’s 10 games against likely postseason teams so far this season with 10 more to go. This last stretch will be very interesting.
