Interesting that D1 has Grand Canyon in our region.....then they also have Oklahoma
That Miami region looks tough with Arizona and Florida in it

I'd rather see hole have to travel further for their regional, but would also love to see the Zags smoke em.

No matter who it shakes out to be I don't really care. "We didn't come here to play JV Ball" - Pat Casey

Also, I see 5 Pac 12 bids and no Utah. the Utes may have something to say about that. I just hope they don't speak up during the next 4 days.

Looking at D1, I would rather play Grand Canyon than San Diego. That is not a terrible two to have. I think that the Lopes placement in Corvallis makes sense, too. You really worry about Oklahoma, if they could sneak by Grand Canyon without using Jake Bennett. That would be bad. Otherwise, that is a pretty good regional. BA. Santa Barbara is a softer two than Grand Canyon, but you would think that Santa Barbara gets sent to Sunken Diamond and ACC pick'em gets sent to Goss. Santa Barbara scares me more than ACC pick'em as a two-seed. (Of course NC State was in Omaha last year, and will probably be carrying a lot of experience.) Oklahoma in both? Kind of strange. You really want Santa Barbara to take care of Oklahoma, because Oklahoma in the winners' bracket could be very problematic. Army is a scarier four than Fairleigh Dickinson. I keep seeing Army in projections. I am curious if somebody knows something or if they just do not know where to put Army. You would think that Army winds up at a Land Grant University. I worry about how well Army travels for a regional. Plus, Army has been to three straight Tourneys. Army beat NC State in Raleigh in 2018, which helped spring Auburn into the Supers. On the other hand, I don't think that Fairleigh Dickinson has been to the Tournament in at least 30 years, so you worry about them bringing a lot of emotion, which can cut both ways.

Really do not want GCU or Gonzaga I am guessing (assuming we host a regional) that whoever comes to Corvallis is a lot more worried about playing us than we are with playing them Probably but both those clubs have sneaky pitchers and great hitters. Not our forte.

As long as it’s after our series sweep. you all know these bracket projections will change every week…. If Beavs can keep winning and remain #2-#8….. regional should be advantageous… but there’s a lot of geographic forecasts.
