Yes it is childish. And no I can’t let it go.

It is beyond childish. 2015 is over. We beat them and that is enough. Now we have to beat the ducks.

Not sure what 2015 was about. 2016 was the year Meggs was on the NCAA selection committee in which he reportedly discouraged our selection into the tournament. That omission was the fuel that fired a two year run that has rarely been achieved in modern athletics.

Sending Meg’s and Co. home from Omaha was the revenge I needed.
Everything after has just been the way things are supposed to be.

Meggs was very complimentary about our team during the 2018 College WS. I'm done bashing Lyndsay for now. He'll have to do something else to get extra attention from me. He's just another coach & team since we beat them in Omaha in that elimination game.
Now about those ducks in Eugene..................those guys were very chirpy when they took 5 out of 6 from us last year. It bothered me.
Both their attitude & losing games to them, bothered me quite a bit last year.

He was a West Coast regional advisor to the Selection Committee and told the committee he did not think the Beavers were worthy of an NCAA berth, although every single evaluating metric was virtually identical to ASU's, which received a # 2 regional seed. There was plenty of blame to be shared. Meggs still sucks. Asking a Beaver fan to forget Meggs is like asking a Red Sox fan to forget Bucky Dent. Ain't gonna happen.

June 18, 2018. Remember the "rain delay!" That 4 1/2 hour delay was a good time. It was immediately noticeable on restart that half the Husky supporters had left. Apparently, as a group they had a plane to catch. Lucky for that half. Meanwhile on the Beavs side, all it took was Madrgral to pop his head out of the dugout, raise his arms encouraging the crowd and people went nuts. The final score was also an accurate measure of fan support in the stands.

It was a situation where there were Utah won the Pac-12 Regular Season Title. Arizona was obviously in. Oregon State went 3-0 against Arizona State and finished ahead of the Devils in the standings. Washington was ahead of both, but Oregon State went 2-1 against Washington. Arizona State ended with an RPI of 43, Oregon State ended with an RPI of 44 and Washington ended with an RPI of 55. Of the three other teams in the hunt, there were three ways to look at their resumes. And either Arizona State or Washington should have been left out. Instead Oregon State was. Still was garbage. D1 Baseball rated Oregon State as the team that most obviously should have made the Tournament that did not.

June 18, 2018. Remember the "rain delay!" Yeah my wife and I were there.....that was one long game.....but that delay helped rejuvenate the guys and the rest is history It also pushed Mississippi State-North Carolina to Tuesday, which meant that the Heels had zero days' rest in the rematch the next day with Oregon State, while the Beavers got to get at least a day's rest in. Also also, Mississippi State only had two days' rest, as opposed to the three that they would have had. That meant that Konnor Pilkington did not pitch on Saturday (Major League full rest), which is the only Mississippi State player to have played in the Majors, so far. (He has thrown five scoreless innings in three appearances for the Guardians this year.) This did not give Oregon State an advantage, but it did help level the playing field between Mississippi State and Oregon State, because the Beavers probably would be without Luke Heimlich and Christian Chamberlain for the two games.
