Both those guys have been missed. LOB and scoring have really been hurt without Wheeler solidifying the order.

Difficult to underestimate T.J.s loss.
Wheelers left handed bat is missed. Wheelers XBH/ HR power is missed. Wheelers effect on the batting order dynamic is missed - With T.J. MC can drop Logan into the 7 hole which boosts the BOG's productivity.

Losing Wheeler, Frisch, Pfennings, Mundt, and Logan for a minute.....this team just keeps pluggin away, and progressing. Kudos to the coaching staff. I think they've done a brilliant job, overall, managing the roster. |

This is great news. Not sure about the speculation about the weekend rotation going forward being Hjerpe/Pfennigs/Kmatz. Given how things have gone so far and that Pfennigs will be building up his pitch count over the coming weeks I'd think he would be the Sunday guy and leave the other two where they are. Not that anyone is asking my opinion. |

It must be tough for him see Hjerpe getting all the praise, scouts, and radar guns when he was set up to be equally successful. I'm sure he wants to make a splash. Probably the hardest job Dorman has is reining them in. |
