Baseball America also has 5 PAC-12 teams in the field.
Oregon State hosts Auburn, San Diego and Nevada-Reno in Corvallis.
Arizona hosts a Regional in Tucson.
UCLA is the #2 seed in the Oklahoma State Regional in Stillwater.
Stanford is the #2 seed in the Notre Dame Regional in South Bend.
Oregon is the #2 seed in the Gonzaga Regional in Spokane.
Mid season predictions are highly speculative. Most schools face a much stiffer schedule in the second half than the first half and some won't be up to the task. You might see a 6th PAC-12 team qualify for the field and you might see another one or two PAC-12 teams hosting. A long, difficult road ahead for every team. This is the time to be on the uptick, playing your best baseball getting hot and on a winning streak.

Sure looks like a Field of 64 and not 48. Last time it was only 48 teams was back in 1998.  |
