Lot of chatter about Iowa offering an absurd amount of NIL money (and outbidding Penn State in the process). A couple of blogs reporting $200K-225K... crazy times.

Iowa nor PSU can offer NLI money. yeah - ok, point taken. How about a guy with an Iowa wrestling sweatshirt offering NIL money? If he's got a "business" opportunity. The farce that this NIL crap is can almost be anything. Plus, in a way it is school related. Most all now have a specific department to help make connections and secure deals. So, really you're correct!

Wrestling may be the most insane of all the sports with respect to NIL money. A relative is a national caliber recruit, and the “offers” and promises are insane. I will cheer for my relative, but when he faces an OSU wrestler, I hope he gets pounded. I understand the financial aspect, but Go Beavers.
