B7 - Thorsteinson with a HR and a very loud 3rd out....thank you Meckler. Huge change from the ground ball efficiency of Hunter. Hope to see someone else on mound for Beavs in 8th.
Melton feels the same way, and decides to take matters into his own hands to lead off the 8th with a triple. Need runs !!

Dukart should be a real stud. I think he would be a fine SS. Just can't seem to get his bat going. He's not the only one. McDowell doesn't do anything productive offensively either. Gretler is another guy who isn't hitting.(He is sitting today but has a poor batting average) was curious on McDowell. 2020 he struck out ever 2.5 AB. 2021 4.1 AB. 2022 3.5 AB. Jones was career 4.5 AB / SO |

Jones was career 4.5 AB / SO McDowell is a .200 hitter, .223 SLG%, with a .323 OB% for his 3 year career as a Beav. He is a back up at best just like Jones was. |

What a terrible job of scoring. Triple, bases loaded no outs. Not one run scored! Not sure what you can say about that crap.
