It certainly gives opportunities for the coaching staff to bring in some players! The team is down to 8 players (9 if by some miracle Taya were to stay), so the Beavs could bring in up to 7 players this summer. I'll be the first to tell you I don't have a lot of faith in the staff landing the players they need. They didn't get it done last summer, and this year will be more difficult with the team having so many holes. There was an excuse last summer though as two coaches were leaving and two were slow to be brought in.
What we will be able to talk about this summer is how well this staff uses the transfer portal. With today's news about Taylor, they need to bring in someone at pretty much every position. There are a lot of players available, but also a lot of teams looking. The competition will be fierce. The coaches know what they need to do. We can only hope for the best.
