“I just did not believe in myself. I was unbelievably insecure, I had huge impostor syndrome, I just didn't think I belonged there at all." Weird thing is, I thought the 2018 Beavers were the most mentally tough team of all. Hard to believe that Kwan had doubts about anything, even in the majors. He was such a positive spirit on the team.

I have always wondered that about Steven, even when he was a Beaver. What I did notice about him was an incredible humility factor, which is why I suppose I respect him so much. Sometimes though he appeared to project himself at a lower standing than some of the other players (not a hard thing when you are surrounded with the likes of Larnach,Rutschman,Madrigal, and others). Can I put a finger on that? Show an example? Not really. It was noticeable to me in ever so detectable body language. Anyways I always thought it strange that a player of that caliber perhaps showed less confidence than his teammates. I highly doubt, based on the integrity of those aforementioned mates, that there was a pecking order. I just don't think Steven knew just how damn good he was.

Cleveland’s only trip into Seattle this year is August 25-28. Finally a reason to go north
