Forgot what a pastime it is to hate on the Beavs. Have at it you two. Let me start you off. Fire Canham! There. Feel better? JFC Wow, seriously? Who's saying fire Canham? I happen to think the program is in great hands. The problem in here, imo, is that any hint of criticism is jumped all over by a handful of posters...."might as well fire Canham"......"you should root for the ducks" etc.....I try to be fairly realistic in my opinions.....and u seem to usually disagree.....fine, but dont lump me in with "the sky is falling" crowd. I understand baseball. It's not over until the last out. Really... don;t waste the words. He'll come back with some off the wall post that leaves your head just shaking! Kinda like this one. Bizarre stuff at times. Just words out of the blue with no real connection to the conversation, especially if you combat his emotion with like actual reality or fact. Fun to read at times... the new key, a return quote of "  " |

The root for the ducks is a general go-to in here when someone thinks a poster is over the line in their criticism.....sometimes maybe warranted, but I'm not a doom and gloom poster. Do I get disappointed? Absolutely....but that's part of being passionate about ur team |

I understand baseball. It's not over until the last out. And this doesn’t hold a candle to the Wbb board! I've found that there is a lot of bickering on any Beavs sports forums. It's interesting, cuz on here it seems that you can get attacked for the slightest criticism. Go to Angry Beavs forum and it the opposite. Kind of an S show. Not a fan of that forum at all. The thing that gets me is the nit-picking, and the passive agressive name calling. That irimi guy is good at it......and then when called on it, he acts as if ur the asshole.....classic! I shouldnt let it get to me, but I do. The thing is, we can disagree without trying to make the other person feel stupid for their opinion. I try my best to show respect to others if I disagree with em as long I get respect in return. |
