Several times this weekend, their pitchers were very animated coming off the mound. Cocky, arrogant, smart ass. That kind of crap starts in the dugout, as a reflection of their coach. Who was quite the dickhead Saturday. How many times did he come out of the dugout? At least five times. Maybe the umpires told him to keep his ass in there today. And that's why he wasn't such a freaking cry baby like he was yesterday.
At the end of the game today, their players huddled on the field down the first base line. And whooted and hollered, and so did their fans. I thought it was downright rude. They're in our stadium for crying out loud. It wasn't like they just won the College World Series. Show some damn respect. You want to do that crap, do it in your own house.
Certainly not as classless as Arkansas and they're so called fans. Or even the ducks. But these guys pissed me off all weekend. A pox on their house.

Their fans were obnoxious Saturday until they lost....that's how u shut em up....u beat em. Otherwise, to the victor goes the spoils.

Who's field doesn't determine the celebration. They just won a series on the road vs a highly ranked team.
As for antics and chirping. Someone must not watch the game very closely. Or with an extremely bias eye. As for chirping and histrionics, it went both ways.
Rude? Really?

The nonstop f-bombs, making fun of our pitchers, turning around & yelling at fans, among other things. Have sat over the dugout for years and this was one of the most poorly behaved teams I’ve seen. Don’t blame the Beavers for their “histrionics” in reaction to them.

Seems like Furd teams can be national contenders in any given sport with not a ton of support. They were aggressive for sure, and it was annoying......but, again, you shut em up by winning the series. We didn't do that.....it's a huge win for them. First series win at Goss since 2010 I believe. We have owned Furd for some time now.

Very few teams over the years were this bush league (beavaristotle’s words from another thread). As an alumnus, fan & season ticket holder, I’m glad our dugout is more the norm.

I was not close enough to the dugout to hear any of it.....sounds like it was over the top though I guess. I mean some chirpin is pretty normal. ARZ from '18 I recall being over the top......prolly is Esquers influence. I don't believe they were this aggressive when Marquess was there.

Reason #1. They beat us, jerk heads. Stanford also beat us regularly (at first) at Goss when Marquess was their coach. They did not act like the current team. At all.

Being the behavior and morality authority for other people is gonna make you sick though. It’s 20 year olds and middle age sports dorks (coaches) chirping. The entire concept of a professional coach is pretty weird and silly if you remember it’s a game. Probably shouldn’t expect them to be consistently reasonable, logical or polite.

Stanford won four times at Goss, while Marquess was the Cardinal's coach: 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2010. And Stanford did not win a series again until Sunday.

I listened mostly on the radio, and it did seem that Parker kept referring to some borderline behavior by Stanford pitchers/dugout....this probably explains Bazzana's emotional response when he made that big play late in Game 2?
What I did find interesting was that the teams didn't shake hands after Game 3....which is pretty telling. I'm wondering if the coaches met and just agreed that a pretty volatile situation could occur if so.

It almost looks like its a carry over from last season to keep the players as distanced as possible when able to do so. Was there any hand shaking after the Irvine series? WSU? Arizona State? Please, any one, correct me if I'm wrong here. I've also noticed the same thing in college basketball games, once the handshaking stopped, it doesn't seem to have been picked up by everyone. Personally, I hope it gets picked back up.
