Beavers need a new strategy for picking up d-linemen. It seems to be easier to recruit O-lineman then DLinemen. We should disguise our intentions on the outside. Start looking for the players who have a MO for speed quickness and strength. That are in o-line. Get three or four of them and we have three sets of big guys for rotation. My new approach if things look scarce on the D-line right now. One man’s attempt to get OSU BUILDING NOT LOSING GROUND WITH D-line

I expect they will be keeping that in mind when they have enough talent on the offensive side. They moved Thomas Sio over last year, a move I hope turns out really well over the next few years. I don't know if it'll be a primary strategy, but I bet they are looking for the best athletes available, and it if happens to be on the offensive side and a kid can be enticed by playing time on the other side it'll probably continue to occur.

I knew Skelton transferred. Didn't hear about Sio, and he's still on the spring roster listing I found. Could've been last years roster I was looking at. Edit: looks current osubeavers.com/sports/football/roster

He didn't transfer out...nothing about it anywhere.

He was with the team all spring, sounds like he could become our best interior lineman in a while if he can stay healthy. I posted this to a 5 week old thread because someone thought he was gone. I find him being singled out as a possible strength on the team as quite exciting.
