Mississippi State and Arkansas begin a three-game set in Fayetteville starting today. One and/or the other has finished top five in the SEC every year since 2009. One and/or the other has appeared in the Super Regional Round have appeared in a Super Regional every year but one (2014) since 2008. |

Mississippi State seems to have preverbally poked the bear. Arkansas beat Hail State in the first two games by a combined 14 runs. |
