The new Tara Beyster, Monica Hoffman, Crystal Draper, Brianne McGowan?
Been a while since OSU softball has had a queen of the circle.

2.18 ERA and .366 Batting Ave. Nice combination! She has probably gotten at least a couple of those W’s on her pitching record via her own plate contributions.

What gets me is that I recognize most of the names you mentioned, because they were big stars and did great things for their OSU teams for a number of years. But this OSU team and Mazon kind of came out of nowhere. What I can't wrap my head around is what changed as a senior that allows Mazon to be so damn good and basically will her team to the WCWS like she has this year?

But, it's been a real team effort. Mason didn't play at all for 3 weeks early. Then I think it was a streak of 6 weeks where she only pitched. Having her out of the lineup is a huge blow, but this team has been used to it.
