Speaking of MP. I know he is an all time fav for many here, but he's really been slipping this season. For the short number of games he has done so far this season I've never heard him make so many mistakes in calling a game. I'm typically at games, so I've had limited listening so I'm sort of astonished on the amount of mistakes. Yesterday's meandering for a couple minutes about others with 8 consecutive games w/ a HR and having to go in MLB when speaking of NCAA records, then in cutting to end of the inning commercial with only two outs.
But, his entire issue with trying to figure out the UNR scoreboard symbols for outs, balls, and strikes was dementia like. I've been to that field, it really isn't that tough to figure out, plus he keeps a scorecard doesn't he? Anyway, he seems to not be at the top of his game this season.

Yeah...Mike's play-by-play does, and always has, stray(ed) a bit into the dufus. But he's OUR dufus play-by-play guy andI I (still) like Mike. Just fine.

My question is if he has a cough button? His coughing and snorting was rough during the Nevada games, and I’ve never noticed it so blatantly mic’s up. If my wife would have been with me, there’s no way she’s not leave the room. I appreciate him powering through, I just wish it wasn’t so obvious how phlegmy he is.
