Its disgusting. You'd think after losing 2 frustrating games in 2019 to these guys.(I know Canham wasn't the coach but he should know history) Also, Nevada scored 20 against San Francisco, 15, 19, 12 against San Jose, & 19 against Air Force. So lets pitch mediocre to bad pitchers against them. How many games were blown in the late innings last year, when we should've had a W? Too many for my taste. So, throw our best in a midweek game, and save tonight's guys for this weekend's Pac-12 series with Stanford? The guy who blew most of last year's late losses was Mulholland. Our several-time All-American. So at least we lost throwing our best, if that's any consolation.

Just think if we somehow win this thing....all the drama for no good cause. If we don't lose this thing, can we still learn from it? I mean yeah the coaches just got long horrible outings from 3 dudes. Definitely some guys fighting for needs most development. This isn't minor league baseball where player development is more important than wins. Canham better figure out that "practice" is where you leave mediocre & sub par players. Not games that could cost us a home regional in Corvallis, like last year.

I was skeptical of this pitching staff early. A lot of young, and unproven guys... experience, injuries. Even the three weekend guys only has 17 or so decisions among them. Scary part to me, these guys have D1 arms but some of their mechanics are down right awful. starting to look like a bunch of D2 arms coming out of the pen

I'm sure plan was to throw Sebby one of the two games to get some work and early looked like wasn't this one....ouch

Sorry you expect him to hit .600 every game? It’s baseball. Yes, the hits have cooled off, but he’s still getting on base. As usual, you’re off arguing about something other than what was originally said. Yes, the hits have cooled off. That’s exactly what I f%#*ing said. Get a grip, old man. You’re slipping. Ok Will Smith…..settle down.

However, relief pitchers should be able to pitch an inning in a mid week game, without being spent for Stanford.
