Maybe I’m wrong. But, I don’t know. I took my daughter and three of my five wonderful grand kiddos to venerable old Gill on Sunday. I don’t make as many games as I used to. My bad. I noticed something, though that STRUCK me like a thunderbolt: MOST of the people there looked ahelluvalot like me. That is to say, “their hair was gray.” Real gray. Now, I realize “we” are at the “have disposable income” age. Own our homes. We’ve raised our kids, are retired, or are close to retirement, etc., but the ratio stunned me. Worried me. I don’t travel with the team so I don’t know if this is the NORM elsewhere. Enlighten me. Thanks

Well, that's certainly the demographic at Gill. That's why they play all that rap, because so many of those in attendance just dearly love it so.
I've never attended a game at USC, but I think the demographic for their fan base is 5 years dead and counting.

The fans are so loud because we are all hard of hearing. We always shout. A lot of us enjoy watching a game similar to what we played, the Beavs play that way.
There was a couple years where we had a small contingent of students at the games sitting in the bleachers opposite the band, most were other athletes, and they were fun. But in the last 5 or 6 years the band has more students than the rest of the crowd.
We do get a fair share of families and children.

It was Spring Break. There were very few youngin's in town. But yes, common comment about women's games all over the country is the fans are older.
