Allow me just a little bit of speculation here.
First of all, we have 6 (I include Taya) leaving, but only 2 were solid Pac 12 players for us. Jovanna and Andrea basically didn't play at all. Tea and Emily, in my opinion, were better suited to the lower level conferences from which they came. Emily developed into a real nice player this year and Taya has been a rock for years. But neither was an all conference type of player. There's nobody on that list that has you shaking your head and wondering how you could ever possibly replace her.
The returning base, defined as those who played this year during conference play and through the postseason:
Talia von Oelhoffen, 5 star recruit Greta Kampschroeder, 5 star recruit AJ Marotte, 4 star recruit Kennedy Brown, 5 star recruit Jelena Mitrovic
Joining them, and taking the place of the 6 above:
Taylor Jones, All Conference Kennedy Brown, playing the right position Timea Gardiner, 5 star recruit Raegan Beers, 5 star recruit Kemery Martin (hopefully), 4 or 5 star recruit Speedy Point Guard, identity as yet unknown
That could develop into something pretty formidable.

I would cross out Kemery Martin on your list and go for two of the speedy point guards, the taller the better. You fail to mention Adlee Blacklock and Lily Hanford, who will also be joining us, though I'm not sure what expect from them except good three point shooting. I'm hoping Adlee has enough speed and quickness to survive in the Pac-12; if she does, she could be a nice surprise.

It's going to be fun to talk about the 2023 Beavs, but it's going to be hard to do until we find out if anyone is transferring out, and who may transfer in. I'm hoping everyone sticks around, and the Beavs land two really good guards/wings. I'm excited to see who they can land. Following the transfer portal and 2023 recruits should make for a fun next few weeks.

I didn't list Adlee, Lily, or Noelle because I don't expect them to be major contributors next year. How about I leave Kemery on the list and a second speedy ball handling guard? We've got the scholarships available, and, if you're gonna speculate, you might as well speculate big.

If she were to leave, I could visualize others thinking they should consider that too. And, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but she said 'we'll be back.' I take that to mean the team, not just her.

I'd take Talia's comment to mean the three Freshman. They are pretty tight.

I may be of a different opinion but I don't think we need to go to the portal to pick up any guards. I think SR needs to go with what will be a very modern lineup and focus on a system with less need for dribbling. It just stagnates the offense and leads to turnovers.
Reagan is an elite passing big and will really change what we can do out of horns sets, pinch posts, post splits and allow Kennedy to play more naturally into, and off, pistol actions and other off-ball actions.

Did you watch Texas vs Stanford last night? When you play a team with perimeter defenders like Texas, you have to have players who can back cut when quick perimeter defenders overplay the passing lanes. We don't have those players today--we need a few quick, ball handlers who can finish at the rim. All I could think of last night watching Stanford vs Texas is we can't beat either of these teams given their defensive pressure.

Stanford scores off of good passing through well executed actions. Trying to dribble your way through that Texas defense wouldn't have worked.

Basically, we have 7 scholarship players returning, plus 4 freshman coming in totaling 11. You can have up to 15. SR has avoided giving out 15 in the past because having too many players created playing time issues and keeping players happy. I think that has hurt the Beavs in recent seasons because of unexpected injuries and transfers out. I may be the only one of this opinion, but I think it's time for SR to go all out and try to bring in 3ish productive players from the portal. You can't just sit around and wait for your youth to (hopefully) develop. I'd like to see the Beavs bring in 2 proven guards and a small forward/wing. The day of counting on recruiting to be the complete answer is over. Teams are now using the portal to fill holes to make sure they remain competitive while the young players develop.
