Looks like about average speed, with junk. The kid does throw strikes. I wonder how long he can last.

Forrester HR to start 2nd....1-0. Aussie flies out, well struck. Mason grounds out to short. Smith singles to left. Gretler seeing a study diet of pitches low and outside, like many, has trouble with those. Battles for a walk. Great at bat. Kyle single up middle. Now 2-0. Runners on 1st and 3rd. Meckler looked completely lost first time up, this should be interesting...much better AB, but grounds out to second. Now head to bottom of 2, Beavs up 2-0. Cal starter up to 47 pitches, now looks human.
