Stanford won 8-7 in 12 innings. Good news is the Cougs chased the trees Friday night starter in the second inning.

Arizona and Stanford losses are interesting. Arizona's ace, TJ Nichols gave up five runs but zero earned runs, picking up a tough luck loss in the process. Two errors on Tyler Casagrande and one error by Galen Caulfield allowed all five runs to score. To add insult to injury Casagrande and Caulfield combined to go 0-8 with three strikeouts and three LOB. The next three relievers gave up five earned runs in the next three innings to turn a 5-0 ballgame into a laugher. |
