At 10:38 Thursday night, I received an email from the ticket office about reserving my seats for the UCLA game. It stated that the deadline for doing so was 5:00 Friday - when the ticket office closes until Monday morning.
If you're wondering why attendance has been so low at these games, look no further than the Beaver ticket office.

I wouldn’t assume anyone in the OSU AD office reads this board.

I vent my frustrations with the ticket office on this board just as others have been venting their frustration with Rueck on this board. I doubt they think Scott reads it either.
Both are just venting, nothing more.

I am sure you can buy tickets online right up until the start of the game. Maybe not reserved seats for season ticket holders to guarantee their usual season ticket location however.
I got my usual seats with no problem.

Been using the app to buy GA tickets. I like my normal seats and I can get close if I arrive a little early. GO BEAVS!

Go online to buy your tickets that’s what I do. And I haven’t had a problem getting my regular seats.

I've had issues with it too. I don't want the app for my tickets so I'm charged an additional $15 to put it in an envelope. As ridiculous as that may seem, it's better than what happened last night to three season ticket holders next to me. In the transfer of data to their apps, their section was switched from Section B to Section 3. OSU could definitely improve this process to increase attendance and lower frustration. The website isn't much better as you have to put your section, row and seat number into the comments and hope that you get it when you arrive to collect your ticket. If the school can create the cool little food delivery robots, they should be able to handle this.....if it's important to them.

It is well worth noting: the school did not create the cool little food delivery robots. Those were developed by a company in Estonia that now lives in San Francisco. The school only licensed the service. So...there you go...

Did a little digging and you are correct! That being said; I like Estonian choral music. I like San Francisco and I like food. It's a win, win, win!

As long as there’s been an OSU Ticket Office, there’s been complaints about the OSU Ticket Office.
I wonder if this is unique to us or if others are in the same boat?

Online ordering has worked like molten buttah for me. Fast, easy, phone-delivered seats. Soooo 21st century.
I asked if I could stubhubupgrade my season tix for WNIT seats, and I've been behind the bench, rows one and two, ecstatically, for three straight games. Tomorrow, too.
Go Beavs. Ticket office huzzahs, too.

When you asked if you could stubhubupgrade your seats did you have to call the ticket office or can you do that online? Asking for a friend. (wink)

Asked for the upgrade, y'know, "happy to sit in my season seats; would love better," in the comments section of the online ordering page. Ticket office delivered!

I'm assuming our ticket office operation is as understaffed as the rest of the department - we have some folks working very hard to bring a lot of events together this time of year. Last weekend some of them were in Portland running the men's NCAA tournament regional while others were trying to staff the baseball and WNIT games. Not saying complaints aren't valid - just that we have some real logistical shortcomings.
