BYU 11 Gonzaga 2
Zags pitching has been rocked for 20 runs in last two games.

Seems like maybe they have a good weekend rotation, but lack depth for midweek??

I would assume a Thursday game at BYU is the same as a Friday game on most weekends so wouldn't their normal Friday guy have gone last night?

It was Gabriel Hughes, their ace. He left after 6, down 4-1. Bullpen came in and gave up 7 in the 7th and 8th innings. My eldest texted last night saying Rooney must have been smoking the devil's lettuce because he had the Zags and UA in his 8 for Omaha.
Oops, upon finding the D1 article, it was Eric Sorenson. Here are his picks: Oklahoma State
– Virginia
– Tennessee
– Texas
– Vanderbilt
– Gonzaga
– Arkansas
– Arizona

That can't be, because we our board expert said Gonzaga isn't any better than a middle-of-the-pack Pac-12 team.

OK You are confusing me with Eric Sorenson, the author of the article. He says they're a CWS team. Check back in June, I bet the winner of the CWS will have a lopsided loss somewhere along the line. Why, the 2018 national champions lost 15-4 to Arizona, 8-0 to USC and twice to hapless Utah!!
