I could see that happening with a coaching change. How do you think they did this year? I have a friend in Montana, big "Lady Griz" fan, and yes, they are fine with being called that, and she said it was a real roller coaster, one great game, then a weird loss. Their star guard was out late in the season, they did ok with her gone, and worse when she came back, so , all in all, bewildering, but an ok record for a coach in a new situation and lotssssss of changes on the roster. gogriz.com/sports/womens-basketball/schedule/2021-22They beat Sac. A little off-topic for this thread but I would've loved to have Taylor Kalmer on this years team. I always thought she was a good pg, but she was a victim of having Slocum, Pivek, and Goodman playing at the same time she was here. Even with covid extension I don't think her eligibility would have stretched to 2022. Her first season at OSU was 2015-16 (Final Four season) so 2021-22 would have taken a 7th season of eligibility. But she ended up with 2 Pac-12 champion rings, so she's got a couple of nice mementos from her OSU tenure. |

I think Rueck does this to some degree as well. I’ve wondered about Morris, as well as that European PG (can’t remember her name). But it definitely appears his program is far more patient than many.
