Conference is bizarre this year. Looks like Trees, Bruins, Devils are all sloppy and possibly in rebuilds. OSU and Arizona look legit. USC and Utah have barely played anyone so who knows. Cougs and Huskies atleast are their usual selves.
I think Cal might end up being tougher than they look, their SoS is rough.
Ducks will be tough again this year but they have also been sloppy.

Furd begins with an underrated uck team and a contender Zona. Struggling a bit, but not a rebuild by any means. OSU with WSU and ASU.
Furd finishes with @uw, Cal, @utes, SC. OSU finishes @utes, Ucks, @zona, UCLA. Could easily be a 3-4 game swing there depending on how a long season plays out, injuries, etc.
OSU, Furd, Zona, ucks, UCLA will all have a say in the order of finish. WSU and ASU should be series wins or sweeps. There is no way to compare standings this early. But, OSU is, and needs to create a cushion with series @wsu, ASU, @cal before Furd comes to Goss. (Still have no idea why they scheduled two in Reno before that series?? That 8 game stretch in 10 days doesn't seem wise.)
Just win the games you're "supposed" to. IMHO OSU already gave away a game of cushion by not sweeping WSU. Today is a must game as going 5-1 over two series with pitching questions is a great start. And, in this conference a game here or there can cost a team a title and tourney seeding.

Only bright point I see on that 8 in 10 days is it gives young guys more experience on the mound but really not a happy sandwich with Cal followed by Stanford. Nevada isn't exaclty a gimme this year though.
