Sasha had a solid year. Her stats are very, very similar to her stats at OSU (29.4 MPG vs. 29.3 MPG, 11.6 PPG vs. 11.7 PPG). I really thought she would thrive in Neighbors' system, but it isn't quite reflected in her stats. That was just my second time seeing her play this season. I'm not sure she would have been able to turn OSU into a tournament team, but her ability to get to put her head down and get to the hoop and defend would have been an asset.
The job Roberts has done this season at Utah is so impressive, especially when you consider they start four underclassmen. They can really shoot it and score it efficiently. Would really like to see OSU get back to playing efficiently on the offensive end next season.

Players come, players go and people take it so personally if someone moves on. Utah is a tough cookie and they are not going anywhere and will be a problem.
Btw, as a side note I hear Nyara Sabally may decide now to stay with the Ucks and not go pro as planned. To be determined after the NCAA's.

How do you compete against that and the NCAA changes?

The NCAA didn't ok paying for performances by setting up bonus money. So, the rumor of $10k each for reaching any point of the tourney would be a violation. And, fairly easy to prove if a player(s) had no NIL deal previously and then suddenly did despite no input in the outcome... no key play, huge bucket, or even playing. No matter how uncle Phil wanted to frame it such a "bonus" for every player would be outside the NIL. Would it be caught? Would it be penalized if so? Ha...

Plus her great drives to the hoops. What’s over is over. They lost we lost that’s it. Arkansas needs some bigs!

I'm a bigger Sasha fan than some of us on this board. I like her length, her defensive skills, her rebounding and her ability to score....
On none of these is she premiere, or top of the line, but kinda like Taya Corosdale, she is very good at all of them I think Sasha would have prospered in the OSU program - and I think she would be a more impactful player in the Beaver system in her 2nd and 3rd year than she will be at Arkansas....
Now, for sure, this is all only conjecture. But conjecture is pretty much the name the game when one is trying to make an educated guess about something that didn't happen!! At any rate, I wish she was here and not there. GO BEAVS!!
