Who would have bet some school called the St. Peter's Peacocks knocking off almighty Kentucky in the first round ... but I guess that is why they call it March Madness there has been some recent instances in the past few years like UMBC knocking off #1 Virginia

And New Mexico State, and Richmond, and the MWC going 0-4 ... upsets in the first two days make the NCAA tournament the great thing it is.

LOL Then again, maybe Kentucky picked the Peacocks….

Maybe, next year, Tinkle will bitch slap another coach and we can go on a run. On a positive note, Tennessee out way too early again. Credit to the Beavs last year.

Cool to see the tourney’s newest Cinderella is still dancing along…

They were in the Championship game last year, so no.

Hmmmm... not sure if the above was sarcastic, disparaging the Zags or But, the No. 1 team from the final AP Top 25 poll winning the NC is not very likely! It’s happened just once since 2001 and only four times since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985. The past 10 NCAA tournaments, only one of those 10 teams — Kentucky in 2012 – actually ran the table.

Well, I intentionally wrote “in a season they were ranked #1”, not ranked #1 at the end of the season. Thanks for noticing the distinction.👍

I was just bored. I honestly do believe the Zags will have a hard time winning the whole enchilada whilst playing in a lesser conference. The same can be said of ‘zona, fucla, etc., of late.
