Love it! My immediate reaction was to do roadtrips on some of his starts....until I realized the things going on in the city I would be traveling to.

Stay north, Vallejo area... quick trip across the bridge and depending on area some have shuttle/buses to Pier area. There are also some pretty nice place near the stadium/walking distance that aren't in problem areas. Not crazy expensive as there is a lot of competition for lodging $$. It's a great road trip and area to hangout before and after games.

Not bad considering he won't be ready to pitch until June. Hopefully he can play himself into a long term contract.

Love it! My immediate reaction was to do roadtrips on some of his starts....until I realized the things going on in the city I would be traveling to. Violent Crime Rate (per 1,000 residents): Detroit 22.6 San Francisco 3.4
Chances of being a victim of violent crime:
Detroit: 1 in 44 San Francisco: 1 in 291
The violent crime rate is almost seven times higher in Detroit than in San Francisco. Detroit has the highest crime rate of any of the United States' 40 largest metropolitan areas.

Last year I went three different times. SF is just like any other big city--It has problems but they don't have to be your your problems. Avoid the areas where there are problems and you will be fine.
