They normally try to stay pretty regional in the first couple rounds. We could see Portland, which would be a tough game. We’ll see.

A match-up with the University of Portland would have one very interesting element. U of P is coached by Michael Meek, who succeeded Rueck as coach at George Fox. Meek took GF to the Div. 3 national finals, but lost and thus finished second in the nation. I don't believe the two teams have played since Meek went to the U of P.

Portland presses all over the floor the entire game. Very effective doing so. Probably would not be a great matchup for the turnover prone
Beavers. However it would be good experience however it turns out.
