Looks to be a better reflection of things at this point than Warren Nolan RPI. One takeaway is that when our schedule came out people speculated that it was weak. At least four teams overperforming preseason projections that could help us come the end of May...Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, University of Portland and Oregon. While we all love to hate the Ducks, if I have this right, it is actually in our best interest RPI wise for them to win Pac 12 games as we play them 5 times and everyone else in the league only three. That assumes we dominate them. If I've got this wrong, someone please tell me. Be assured, I am not in any way shape or form encouraging anyone to like, or root for the Ducks.

We tend to do well enough even when the Ducks suck. A winning Duck baseball team makes me nervous because I know how much money they can throw at the program to give it even more momentum. Certainly don't want to lose players to an up and coming Oregon program. FtD |
