Kmatz looked stronger and better in his last innings. Brown looked really good, maybe soon to be a starter. Carpenter sure did his job. We need to get Donkey going! He has real trouble drilling the Ball like it did last year. Impressive top 6 at the plate. He talked about it before the game yesterday. He’s trying to get his swing back. Didn’t play fall ball due to an injury. I’ll take his walks, though. And soon enough, he’ll be hammering the ball again. |

Great series win against a quality PAC 12 team at their place, and dominated both games. Would LOVE to get the sweep. Go BEAVS.

Great series win against a quality PAC 12 team at their place, and dominated both games. Would LOVE to get the sweep. Go BEAVS. I get your idea, but WSU really isn't quality in Pac12. Picked bottom tier and games we should expect to win. Sweeps though are tough. A lot of good teams slip up and go 2-1. A sweep on the road would be a nice early cushion. You never know when that extra game/W comes in handy. Utah, WSU, SC, UW are/should be series wins. Sweeping two or more (10-2 or better) would be huge and give some leeway if OSU happens to stumble in a series or two. |

Internet fable. I actually have the ball Brasky hit, bought it for $3 in Tijuana last year. It is sitting right next to Rasmussen’s 27th out baseball and a spitball thrown by Gaylord Perry that is still wet. |
