Well if it’s any consolation No 1 Texas lost their top pitcher Tanner Witt to TJ ....so it seems like a fair amount of teams are having to adjust to these types of injuries.....blehhhhh

I would imagine Will Frisch will be doing some consultation with Orthopedic Surgeons and maybe additional medical people about the right course of action. There are several surgical procedures being used to repair the UCL and might take some time to make a decision.
I believe the estimated minimum time of re-hab is still about 15 months. That would mean Will wouldn't pitch again until June of 2023.

Another procedure named after another former pitcher, Seth Maness may be an option. If the ligament is not completely detached, a brace is added to existing ligament. In best case scenario pitchers have returned in 5 months , rather than the 14-16 months that TJ takes. I believe that Verburg had a form of the new procedure. Either way Frisch misses this year but maybe there is a chance he is healthy for fall ball

Pfennigs is more precautionary than rehab - he threw this week.
It appears the coaches are being very careful with him and rightfully so - not worth taking any risk.
