Dang, for how much crap we always gave Canzano, he was at least occasionally entertaining. And I enjoyed his Blazer columns. Very curious what happened or where he will end up.

Dang, for how much crap we always gave Canzano, he was at least occasionally entertaining. And I enjoyed his Blazer columns. Very curious what happened or where he will end up. There were a couple of really good articles that Canzano wrote that showed some real depth and a talent for finding a really wonderful angle to write an article. So many of his other articles were just cheap attempts at stirring the pot though. It left me with a feeling that the guy had a tremendous amount of talent but instead chose to dig into the Jim Rome cheap bag of tricks to generate some buzz. His radio show aped the stereotypical trash talk controversial angle so much that it was unlistenable to me. Maybe I'm being unfair and he had some growth to become someone more substantial after 2015, because that's about the time I stopped paying attention to Canzano. |
