My big take away from the weekend is we have some dudes in the bull pen!
Totally impressed with Ben Ferrer, I think he is a potential mid week or maybe even a Sunday starter here real soon.
In that Second game I thought Kamatz pitched better than the runs allowed in the book really showed.
Lawson and Carpenter were great!
Game 3 Lattery, Hibbard and Ryan Brown (we saw why he was pulled so quickly on Friday... had plans to use him on Sunday).
My biggest question mark coming into the year was answered with what I say this weekend. I know UC Irvine is not an offensive juggernaut but watching these young fellas and JC transfer in person was very impressive. We just need to get our starting rotation nailed down and let these other guys find there specific roles but man there is talent to be had. My biggest take away is we have some guys with velocity as well. Love it.
