conspiracy theory , postponed game over worries beavers will be short of arm for the Irvine series. with all the injuries to the projected rotation beavers may need to stretch out some arms for inning coverage as season goes along. or it could just be the rain, although forward looking radar shows a window tomorrow evening to get a game in.

I don’t mind the extra rest before the weekend series. The game didn’t have potential to help our ranking, only hurt it. |

The issue is that this was Seattle’s only game down here. They may not even spend the night. With the forecast being what it was, I’m thinking they probably didn’t want to take a 10 hour bus ride for a small window to play in. The forecast changed drastically today, but not soon enough for them to change their mind. |
