It didn't look like Melton really got into that HR. Couldn't see where it landing. How far?

Not to be a Debbie-downer about last season as the Beavers were a few outs from advancing to a super regional, but I have seen few passed balls, few pitches going to the backstop, and few, just plain dropped balls by the catcher. Claunch injured his hand in the first game last season which is a factor and players were running at will against at least one pitcher, but, damned, I am encouraged by the catching position and that is really not competition level improvement.
