Surprise part deux

More competitive game than score shows. Both team had same number of hits thru 8 innings. Beavs strung them together, zags did not. Pfennigs was good, couple times he appeared to lose him windup but was able to recover without damage. Low 90’s fastball, slider at 86-84 and change 80-83. Threw 76 pitches (hjerpe was 95 yesterday). Offense good again, attacking at the plate, less swing and miss. Speed is evident, great aggressive base running. Meckler doing great job at lead off . Bazana is special. Justin Boyd has picked up where he left off last year and taken another step forward. Maybe the second coming of cole Gillespie. Logan doing a great job behind the place, blocking balls and throwing. So far so good. Not sure who throws tomorrow. I try to remind myself it’s really early and we have been team February before but lots of positive signs.
