I've been hard changing on these boards since well before he was born.
My work is done here, I raised a Beaver. Now I just gotta talk him in to actually going there haha

Both my sons chose OSU. ‘03 and ‘07 grads! They chose well. 👍😊

Both my sons chose OSU. ‘03 and ‘07 grads! They chose well. 👍😊 Same. One went to OHSU and is working on becoming the first Doc in the family. The other is still suffering away in the Nuke program at OSU. Crazy kids. All I did was tell them that they had better not become teachers. LOL |

While service in the Navy might be beneficial to him, I think he doesn’t want to go that route. He is less open than my older boy, so it’s hard to get a read on him. All I can say is that I will be drinking heavily the day he graduates. |

Have 1 who made it through and now off the payroll. 1 is a junior at OSU in CS and the youngest is a HS Senior, was accepted and similarly -> the challenge now is to get him to actually show up. Major Senioritis going on right now. One minute he's all in and wants to go into Engineering. The next minute he's convinced he'll be wealthy off of crypto, no college necessary. |

Whoa! That's cold. My old boss told me a story about why he chose North Dakota State. His dad gave him a choice of studying medicine in Bagdad (he was from Iraq) or engineering in the USA. He said it took less than a second to decide. He worked for NDDOT for four years after graduation and then moved to Portland. Anyway, I thought of that because he said Fargo was cold!

I too have a Senior in HS that’s been accepted to OSU. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm? We’re in Bozeman right now for his MSU visit and I’ll tell ya, -17° isn’t making a real good impression. Lived in Bozeman for 2 years. One year it was 80 degrees on July 3rd and then snowed on July 4th. |

I just looked out my window, here in Corvallis, a couple minutes ago and it was snowing very lightly. It's not -17 but it's been a chilly winter. I grew up in Billings and the only time I missed school was when they closed it because it was too cold to go outside. It was quite the change when we moved here and they closed them the first winter for a light dusting. |

Growing up in Idaho school was only cancelled for snow once in my life, my Sophomore year. My basketball coach called us all and said since there’s no school today we’ll have two practices, be here at 9! Drove to school and back twice that day! Ha ha
