They did beat UA in Tempe last Friday, which can't hurt. Barely lost to them on Sunday. These make-up games are brutal.

If you don’t play the game you potentially can’t increase your net ranking. Playing a team in the 100s this late in the year isn't really a boost unless your win by 25+ on the road. A lot more danger than upside.

Uh, bubble teams it does matter. If two teams are even yet one has played more of their make up games a few committee members have said decision could be made on games actually played. You will see some whining and howling from those first out and first in groups that what you have ever seen before. Team A makes up everything and team B selects those makeups that benefit them could be a tie breaker all other things being equal.

Could you link us those specific statements made by committee members? I have a hard time believing the committee would fault ASU for forfeiting a game when they were waiting at the airport and their plane remained grounded due to mechanical issues.

If I recall Ucks had a charter cancelled , rescheduled the next day arrived at 3 and played Zona at 7pm. Pac-12 rules and they way they read are straight forward. www.mercurynews.com/2022/02/07/metcalfe-arizona-schools-sweep-oregon-as-barnes-and-graves-make-nice-osus-rueck-ejected-at-asu-again-and-ucla-carries-on

We don't know the whole story I'm guessing, but I find it hard to believe the Pac12 would make the call in that circumstance. Why not just a no contest?
