Here's another one from Baseball America: Top-150 prospets for 2022 MLB Draft
#30 Hjerpe #65 Bazzana #93 Frisch #128 Melton
Note 1: The baseball websites are all assuming another 20 round draft. I would think w ith complicated bargaining taking place, the draft is an unknow at this point.
Note 2: I'm not positive on this, but I think Bazzana could be a "one and done" at OSU if drafted. Unless he has renounced his Aussie citizenship, he would likely qualify as a foreign player like the Venezuelan and Dominican youngsters do - the 21 year old age draft eligible requirement wouldn't apply and the 3 years of college (1 year in JC) might not either. Baseball America thinks he is "draftable" this year. Anyone know?

I don't know. But I thought that if a Venezuelan, Cuban, Mexican or any other nationality player played for a 4-year university they had the same draft rules. I'm trying to remember why I think that but I can't honestly come up with an answer - sorry. How old is Bazzana?

Not sure where he falls... this is interesting from the MLB site...
The Rule 4 Draft is the official term for the First-Year Player Draft, an amateur draft held annually in early June. Players must be a resident of the United States (U.S. territories, such as Puerto Rico, apply) or Canada to be eligible for the draft.

More from MLB site....
Each year's international signing period begins July 2 and continues through June 15 of the following year. Under the CBA, international amateurs are defined as follows:
• Player resides outside of the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico and has not been enrolled in high school in any of those locations within the past calendar year. • Player is at least 16 years of age or will turn 16 years of age prior to Sept. 1 of the current signing period.
Any player meeting that criteria becomes eligible to sign a Minor League contract with a Major League organization for a signing bonus that fits within said team's allotted pool.

He is not eligible for this year's draft. Once he stepped foot into his first classroom at a 4 year school he falls into the same category as all student athletes that are also enrolled at these schools. So he's here for 3 years for us to enjoy!
