Unfortunately, one game day conflicts with the Civil War.

Yikes... Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue, West Virginia, and Xavier on the men's side for the Legacy field.
OSU and PortSt are the fodder?

Give me Gonzaga, Duke, and Xavier. I see 3 wins right there.

Unfortunately, one game day conflicts with the Civil War. Maybe, maybe not. The TV networks have yet to get involved for football. I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN takes up the football Civil War, and changes the date from Friday to Saturday because they said so.

It could be a "typical" false hype situation. Play well enough to lose to a couple very good teams, beat PSU in game #3 in the loser's loser bracket. Then folks think MBB is turning the proverbial corner!

Hey! In the last 12 months the team has turned the corner twice. 12 months ago, the Beavers were on a three-game losing streak and five-game road losing streak. Oregon State sat at 6-8 in the Pac-12 and 10-10 overall. Oregon State went 4-2 over the next six, including 3-0 on the road to finish fifth with the second tiebreaker over Stanford. (The second tiebreaker was better record against Oregon, 1-1 versus 0-2.) Oregon State went on to win the following six straight to advance to the Elite Eight before losing a third time to end the season. The Pac-12 Quarterfinal Game last year was against UCLA. Unless Oregon State or UCLA change position over the final seven games, UCLA would again be the opponent in the Quarterfinal Game.
