Time to start the…..”ONE MORE YEAR” chant for Taya. We need this to be the chant at this weekend's games in Gill Coliseum. I'll be there and when I stand up and start chanting one more year as Taya steps up to the free throw line, I expect everyone to join in.

Idk...from her perspective...5 years in college already. Might be time to move on with life, especially if she has already got her degree, etc. I'd be surprised to see her stay for a 6th year. I'm sure there's opportunities outside of school for her.

I guess it all depends on how much the individual person really loves the sport. I was never that good a player(small college only) but I loved to play basketball. I probably would have played 7 or 8 years of it, if I could have. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that most of those who love the sport never have the opportunity to experience.
Ms. Corsdale will do what she really wants to do. I hope that is continue to play another year so Beaver fans can appreciate her all around high level of play and team leadership.
Go Beavers

Note the picture that accompanies this announcement on the last home game on Sunday. I do not like seeing a certain someone in the picture. Do others interpret it the same way? (It's also interesting to see Aquino in the photo.)

It would sure appear that Corosdale is leaving after this season. Looks like a senior night poster to me since the others shown are out of elegibility. Aquino may be quietly leaving the team maybe? She is listed as a rs-sophomore on the roster. Maybe she finished here degree and is getting on with life.

Or it's just a photo of all the upperclasswomen, plus Andrea.

It could be she hasn't made up her mind and doesn't want to miss out on having senior day with her family in case she does decide to go.

I believe Andrea has finished her degree and is moving on. I think she's been on the roster for four years but is listed as an R-So because of Covid and "redshirting."

Off topic I know but...they had a little video of Andrea talking about a podcast she was going to start, anyone find that yet? When she does leave I will be sorry to see her go, just a fun individual, and good for the team in many ways. When she used to suit up I wonder if other coaches would double-check the roster to be sure she wasn't playing that day.

I think the picture is definitely for Senior day, but I don't think that means Taya is definitely gone. I do expect her to move on, but I won't be completely surprised if she decided to stick around. With both Taya and Ellie gone next season, the Beavs will need some of the new players to be consistent from 3.
I think what beav74 said is correct about Andrea. She's finished her degree. I'm not sure the program should have any responsibility to continue to provide a scholarship after she has received her degree. She's been a great positive influence to the program. It's a shame she never had the chance to play.

There was a message on Facebook that Taya was accepted in Stanford for masters program. It has since been deleted.
