Friedman Breaks OS 800m Record - the previous record was set in 1979 by Kathy Weston.

OSUBeavers' article highlights some of the track & field events from the weekend. The team split up and went to both the UW Husky Classic and the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (NM).

I'm currently watching a documentary on beavers.
It's the best dam show I have ever seen.

Kelly Sullivan was/is a very nice man and a good steward of the program. But it is sure nice to see our athletes develop. The high end ladies get better and the walk-on types seem to become good depth pieces. (I've never met and don't know much about Quintana; he may be equally good)
