3 rd game. Facing Alabama now behind top of 5 th 4-1. 8 hits to 2. Misplayed a bunt twice 2 nd and 3 rd than blooper that shortstop could not catch. Kind of looks like last Year. Think they play Tonight as well.

New Mexico. Played Texas State 6-1. Played New Mexico State.12-0 mercies 5 innings. 3-2 now. Lost to Alabama and New Mexico. Beat 3 teams that are not quality teams. I do not see us as a contender. Do think defense may be a little better.

Softball update from Cathedral City. Beats beat Tennessee 5-2 and than promply got behind Baylor 5-0 first inning . Came back to win 13-7. No errors. Baylor made 5. Now 9-3. Would say they are playing well right now. Baylor played oregon a couple weeks ago. They split. Doubt we can beat UW orUCLA but we are a bit better I think. Some power and some pitching. A way to look at it is after the first inning Baylor only got 2 more in 6 innings. That is good.
