We are pretty much toast, done for this year and I can't believe we win another game for about 10 days, best chance duckies at home but that's a long shot. On to next year!!! I'd love to be wrong too, but I don't believe it. Hope is eternal but don't see the NIT taking a losing record either. I’m sorry but I can’t agree with that sediment. Even if in there very worst years our ladies can redeem themselves of all there sins, in but a moment, when the ducks are crushed by our mighty sword. We have the chance to do it twice again so twice we shall!!!!!! Go beavs Are you a paster or minister?

Greta needs to play a lot more. Many of us have been saying that for weeks. Let her play the 2 spot and Talia the 1. Give them both more experience. Tea isn't going to lead us to the Promised Land, and she's not going to put many points on the board. Nine conference games played, and we're averaging 59 points per game. Why bother with 'senior leadership' in the backcourt when 17 turnovers ( today's number) is a typical day for you? Agree that Greta needs to play much more, just to build her confidence. Greta demonstrated in this game that she can make buckets. I don't agree that TvO should be playing the 1. TvO is not a point guard. Coaches are finally recognizing that TvO isn't a 1. They had Emily Codding play point for a good amount of time. TvO is a wing. Play TvO at the wing from this point forward. Let Codding play the point with Tea remainder of the season. Need to get point guards in the portal for next season

Just to put a things in perspective. Villanova, that team the Beav's should never have lost to? Yeah, they just beat UConn. The 2015/16 season Beav's that we look back at with such affection as the bygone years of greatness? Stanford beat them 76-54. 1 point difference in the loss. We had some definite problems this game. And three of our starters are frosh. Try hard to give them a little slack in playing one of the two top teams in the country with their all pac-12 post out for the season. UConn continues to be missing a bunch of players, so this might get a bit of an asterisk. Still, it's notable. UConn hadn't lost to any conference foe in just about forever. They never lost a single game for however long they were in the American Athletic, and this is their first loss in the new Big East.

Whether Rueck is saving TvO for UO games or not, TvO is still not a point guard. Emily Codding did a better job of getting into the offense that TvO did, considering it was Emily's first time running the point. I am a TvO fan, just want her in the best spot for her and the team, and that is not the 1.

We have the chance to do it twice again so twice we shall!!!!!! Go beavs Are you a paster or minister? I have a friend that jokingly uses that phase about sins. A sin in this context would be losses that everyone is upset about. I’m using silly analogy to make my point about beating the ducks. The ladys team probably has very few sins, great lady’s! just trying to make a point we aren't finished with our season. With a rather attention getting analogy. Jokingly. The point is our season is never wasted or lost, particularly when we beat the ducks. That can redeem the season!

My thoughts about the women's basketball program at this point, is that we have slipped so far in such a relatively short length of time.
I have no answers as to why, and am not advocating a new coach, or anything drastic like that.
I am just generally disappointed in how we now have difficulty beating any of the teams in the conference.
There was an effort and elegant precision to the way the team played during the "good years".
What is happening is a reminder to enjoy good things 100% while you can, because they can be gone very, very quickly.
A question for the group-Does Coach Rueck give regular weekly interviews that are available on the internet? I would really like to hear what he has been saying about this team and this season.

Need to get point guards in the portal for next season I see absolutely no point in playing either Emily or Tea over Talia at the point for the rest of the year. They're both gone in a matter of weeks, and there is no point guard scheduled to come in and take over that position. Better off assuming the only options for next year are Talia and Noelle, and Noelle isn't a starter. Can't depend on a hope and a prayer in the portal.

Here’s a thought. From the 2022 recruiting class the Pac-12 dominated the rest of the country in recruiting. That means possible attrition by possibly UCLA STANFORD AND ARIZONA DUCK PLAYERS. I won’t say beaverS. Look what Oregon gains this year from USC that girl Rogers.
Maybe just maybe a point guard will see the hand writing on the wall that still wants to be in the pac 12. We might keep our eyes open for a opportunity!

I don't see us getting into the NCAA Tournament this year without other OSU guards taking minutes at the point. Should we get into the NCAA Tournament, our point guard(s) are going up against some ball hawking defense. Have you noticed how long it takes TvO to get our offense started from the time TvO gets the ball across the half court line? Both Tea and Emily get OSU into their offense much quicker. At least the coaches need to adjust PG duties more quickly when TvO is ineffective at the point. I believe TvO is going to be a greater asset at the wing than at the point, and as far as next season, OSU still needs more ball handlers who can run the point.

I have an unimportant question. Why do people on this site refer to the woman's players by their first name and the men by their last name?
