Never heard of many double technical fouls being given out until I saw this from 2019.
March 1, 2019 at ASU with final score 66-54, ASU on top
Scott Rueck received two technical fouls was ejected with 2:19 remaining. He has to be restrained by members of his coaching staff after receiving the second technical. Rueck was unavailable for comment.

Two techs/ejection isn't normal, but not crazy unusual.
Scott has had several instances of getting one early and having to be careful afterward.
As others here have stated, success has affected him some. He acts a bit arrogant, and if you're close to the bench he makes some very questionable remarks to officials. I'm actually surprised he's not gotten more T's the last 3 seasons.
On a side note... every coach runs into a "longevity" plateau. Scott is very controlling, his schemes very organized. But, times change and other coaches catch up/on. Recruiting better talent is great, but updating philosophies/schemes is key. I see a few square pegs being forced into round holes. SR is obviously a very good coach. But, the truly elite take stock of themselves and their systems regularly. IMHO Scott needs to take a step back and maybe get an honest outside assessment from someone he trusts, that is not afraid to critique him.
