Won TWO games two years ago. 'grats. Back to the Lady Beavs. Was rooting for the "Bungles" considering they are the nice underdog story and haven't been to the Super Bowl since 1989 ... it would be interesting if the 49ers hang on to win this game right now and Cinci goes on to beat them in the Super Bowl to get revenge on them for the last time they faced them in their last appearance there. |

1988 was their last Super Bowl 1989. Super Bowl XXIII, January 22, 1989. Everyone knows the team that wins the super bowl in 2022 is considered the 2021 NFL Champion. The fact the game is played in the following calendar year doesn’t matter. That’s just how it has always been. |
