ESPN reports the UCLA Oregon game as a forfeit. They stated at Gill tonight that Sunday's game is still on, so, obviously, UCLA hasn't forfeited yet. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I don't understand why Close wouldn't have found some walk-ons weeks ago, so she could at least be assured of putting a team on the floor. Pac-12 site has already updated the standings as a forfeit by UCLA on their website. Was actually ruled a forfeit Thursday by the Pac-12 office but could not be official announced until after the original planned start time of the game.

UCLA's website has just acknowledged the forfeit to Oregon but is also reiterating that "The Bruins' next game will be on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2pm at Oregon State." So it's game on at least as of 10:00 pm.

UCLA's website has just acknowledged the forfeit to Oregon but is also reiterating that "The Bruins' next game will be on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2pm at Oregon State." So it's game on at least as of 10:00 pm. Due to injuries unrelated to active COVID-19 cases, Oregon's game against UCLA scheduled for Friday, Jan. 28, has been ruled a forfeit by UCLA and will be a win for Oregon in the conference standings in accordance with the Pac-12 handbook's administrative policies, the league announced Friday. The updated game cancellation policy, announced as part of the Pac-12's basketball administration adjustments for the 2021-22 season, allows for a game to be rescheduled or declared a no-contest if a team has fewer than the minimum roster available for a scheduled contest (at least seven scholarship players and one countable coach). This policy is reserved for the unavailability of participants due to COVID-19. Per NCAA policy, there will be no adjustment to overall records. The game will count in the Pac-12 standings.

With the world of social media one never knows what's out there - so I thought I'd give it a try to see if anyone had seen anything more immediate....
If UCLA is going to play at Gill tomorrow (Sunday) they should be in town by now, and they should have a shoot around today or tonight....
Osborne suffered an ankle injury in November, so she's had her share of problems for a player who, when healthy, is a sure fire 1st team All Pac player....
Shifting gears: If Greta or Codding can learn to make a 3 in the next 24 hours, the Beavs should be able to handle the Bruins whether Osborne plays or not.. If they can't, I'd just as soon Osborne sit out this game.🏀 GO BEAVS!!

The NCAA website is saying the UCLA game is postponed, but I can't find anywhere else that is saying that.
