As your recent post on enrollment numbers at duckville indicate, the duckers have to have a relatively inexpensive “sport” in which to put large numbers of women to balance their Title 9 requirements. That 44% male aspect of the enrollment requires some serious juggling, and they certainly aren’t going to put philbucks into gymnastics or rowing.

It's comical that this "sport" doesn't even have a simple page describing, oh I don't know, the rules, the history, the many legendary acrobatic tumblers, etc. Or it may be a case of - the less said about this misbegotten charade, the better.

6 d1 schools have the program. Baylor is the only other p5 school. Other d1 schools are Quinnipiac and Presbyterian college are two others. Not sure what the other 2 are.
uo is one of the founding schools, they needed it to be title 9 compliant. Interesting that they had not dropped a women's sport just prior to it. The uo school paper tried to get an answer to whether they were compliant the years just previous but were stonewalled by the athletic department.

But you were arguing that it's not a sport... I was saying it's a "so-called" sport, which is still a sport (at the lowest level). Heck - darts, dodgeball and beanbag-tossing into a hole in a piece of plywood are "sports". But if a D1 university wanted to sponsor them as varsity programs with paid coaching and support staffs and 20+ funded scholarships it'd be equally laughable.

beanbag-tossing into a hole in a piece of plywood That's a lot of word for cornhole. I think there are multiple definitions for the term "cornhole". I was trying to be clear. If you're interested in those alternate definitions just go to Urban Dictionary, "cornhole".
