Wow we really made it hard. Not very good offense . Not very exciting. I think Washington may have 5 points in 4 th quarter. We were not much better. Should have won much more comfortably. Get some offense. 30 percent is not entertaining. We certainly are far from being a good smooth team. 46-41 better than a loss but not good enough to keep folks or bring in new fans.

Today we couldn't hit wide open shots. Our offensive sets were working, we just didn't make shots (other than Taya). KB & Jelena played pretty darn well with her back to the basket. Remember, a huge part of our post offense is sitting on the bench. Our height on defense makes a difference. Greta has to catch and immediately shoot--keeps hesitating. KB is getting wide open shots around the elbow and free throw line and bricking. Our team would be hard to stop if KB can hit those wide open shots. Taya continues to impress--leading by example every game. Ugly win, but a win. GO BEAVS!

PAC-12 road is a killer. Two days ago, with 7:37 left in the game, Huskies actually had a lead on the women's team from Eugene.

WTF? I’m busy but trying to follow on ESPN game track. Been 51 secs left for ten minutes There was some official timeout, then more timeouts. I burned through 2 5-minutes free Pac12 network sessions for nothing. Between a 5-minute review, multiple timeouts and poor foul shooting the last minute was unwatchable. I hate the advance the ball rule after a TO.

How many college floors still have multiple three point lines?
At least twice (Kennedy and Taya) we had players lining up behind the old women’s three point line.
Even though she was only 6-16 from the floor, Kennedy showed nice aggressiveness and post moves on the offensive end. Hopefully she can develop a more reliable mid-range/high post shot.

I thought Kennedy was absolutely outstanding on defense today. just terrific. Only had 1 foul, and that was offensive. She looked very comfortable playing the post.
Don't think Taylor made the trip; at any rate, I didn't see her.

None of our guards did well offensively, though Tea handled the other PG duties well. Talia really struggled and Greta just doesn’t get the ball enough from the 3 point line. We really need more, and more consistent, offense from our guards.

Huskies are an improved team and their post is pretty good. They had their chances to win. KB played good D and had a good game as did Taya. If she can hit her mid range shots it will be like having Gulich still around. First quarter was great but then things really bogged down. A W in the Win column when is always good. Nice to actually watch the Beavs play!

Nice to actually watch the Beavs play! Which poster(s) would reply: "Where is else would a W go but the win column"?? Unsure how this team will progress, but it appears they are not as talented (or at least playing to the level the talent level suggests) overall as many were expecting. A Pac12 road win is a plus as it's anyone's guess how the rest of the schedule will play out, or not play out. This far into the season I'm not expecting any real changes in overall play other than those nights multiple players all are feeling it. I didn't see a top 4 Pac12 finish from the get go, but I'm thinking #4-7 could all be very close and may depend on how Covid continues to effect scheduling and player health. It'll be interesting to see how many Pac12 teams get invited to the tourney.

We have one girl that is not consistent from 3ville ( Talia ). . Seems that our only consistent outside threat is Taya. Not what. I would expect from our recent recruiting. We also suck at layups and cripple shots ( missed three putbacks in a row, on one trip down the floor )..
My positives, from today, are the play of Kennedy, Taya and Jelena . They are the ones who seem to rise to the occasion. Macks game was off a bit - but, she still impacts the game positively . I sure wish that Greta and AJ would break out ! Go Beavers !
