I need to vent for a moment. I had the under on Northern Kentucky and Illinois Chicago. Under 139. Game 65-65, UIC misses shot with about 3 seconds to go. NKU rebounds and throws ahead to guy going to his basket. He dunks it as time expires. I think the shot was allowed on the court, but then the obvious review. It's weird the review is clear, but it's very close. The red lights surrounding the backboard come on at 0.1 seconds. The ball is in the cylinder but probably touching the dunker's hand at that point. When the clock strikes 0.0, the ball and the hand have perhaps 6-inches of separation. On TV, either the play-by-play guy thinks they will go to OT and the color guy thinks the game is over. I may have the two guys backwards. Anyway, after about five minutes, the refs waive off the basket and it goes to overtime. And I lose the under bet in Overtime. Un f'en believable. They blew the review and cost me the bet. And I have no idea why the red lights come on before the clock is 0.0. If you have ESPN Watch you can see the replay. Go to the end of regulation and look for yourself.

You were betting on Northern Kentucky (RPI 327) vs Illinois -Chicago (RPI 281)?

Yea, I'm a degenerate. But even with sucky things like last night it beats spending 50 and 60 hours a week doing engineering stuff.

Seek help. Or send me the $ you like to gamble with and I’ll put it to good use.

Yea, but I'm an engineer. Meaning I'm (overly) analytical and have become really good with open office spreadsheets. Ive always thought that tracking MLB umpires would be a profitable task but I need the six months of vacation after hoops season ends.

Also over/under bets should have an adjustment or cancellation if there’s OT.

Also over/under bets should have an adjustment or cancellation if there’s OT. No such thing. Twice I've lost unders in the 2nd OT. The second was Florida International and Eastern Michigan this year. But then I finally won one in the 2nd OT with Valpo and Loyola-Chicago last week.
